Snowflake Earrings in Sterling Silver

These earrings were inspired by Masaru Emoto’s The Hidden Messages in Water, where he explored how words and intention might influence the crystals that form as water freezes. While his work has drawn plenty of critique, I’ve always been captivated by the underlying idea: that our thoughts, emotions, and the energy we carry have the power to shape the world around us — especially since we ourselves are mostly water.

The design for these snowflakes is based on the crystal that formed when water was paired with the word “beauty.” Whether or not you take the experiment literally, I love the symbolism — the way beauty, kindness, and intention can ripple outward.

To me, these earrings carry a little bit of that reminder: that what we speak, feel, and create matters. And I think they live up to their origins. ❄️✨
